| Description |
English: Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani built Al Zubarah Fort in 1938 with the aim of guarding and protecting Qatar's northwest coast. The castle was one of the coastal fortresses that were included in the country's defense system.
The castle was used as a center for the Frontier Corps until June of the year 1986 |
