| Description |
Transmetro is a municipal bus service in Guatemala City running between the city hall (Municipio) and Centro Sur. Unlike other bus lines, it has fixed stops, runs on dedicated lanes (partly) and is uses a fleet of modern VOLVO buses, produced by CIFERAL in Duque de Caxias-RJ, Brasil. Stations and vehicles are guarded by Policia Municipal. The picture shows two buses passing at Mariscal station. |
