Summary

Description
Field of view.
The "road curve to the far south"

English: View of the south-western extremity of Corsica, from the N196 road near Roccapina (a place known as the "road curve to the far south").

The capes from the nearest to the farthest are:

  • the Punta di Mucchju Biancu, and the beach of Mucchju Biancu on the left
  • a nameless cape
  • the Punta di Caniscione, and the Olmeto genoese tower
  • the Bruzzi peninsula and the Bruzzi islands
  • the Punta di Capineru
  • the Punta di Ventilegne
  • the Capo di Feno (the largest cape, on the background) with a small lighthouse

There is a monastery in the highest point of the Capo di Feno: the Ermitage de la Trinité.

Northern Sardinia is also barely visible, 50km away.
