It is currently administered by Agua y Saneamientos Argentinos (AySA). The building was designed as a water pumping station in 1877 by Swedish Argentine architect Carlos Nystromer. It features a tin mansard roof and is emblazoned with escutcheons representing the 14 Argentine provinces of the time. The building’s entrance is graced by two caryatids, and the property, by landscaped gardens.
  • Buenos Aires Zoo – This zoo in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires, Argentina contains 89 species of mammals, 49 species of reptiles, and 175 species of birds, with a total of over 2,500 animals.   • Obelisk of Buenos Aires – This is a national historic monument and icon of Buenos Aires. Located in the Plaza de la Republica at the intersection of avenues Corrientes and 9 de Julio. It has only one entrance (on its west side) and on its top, there are four windows that can only be reached by a straight staircase of 206 steps with 7 breaks every 6–8 meters. Its height is 67.5 meters, and 63 meters of these are up to the initiation of the apex, which is 3.5 by 3.5 meters. The tip is blunt, measuring 40 centimeters, and ends in a lightning rod that cannot be seen because of the height; its cables run through the interior of the obelisk.
  • Plaza San Martin – This is a park located in the Retiro neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The plaza became the preferred surroundings for some of Argentina's wealthiest landowners around 1900. Its entrance on Figueroa Alcorta Avenue led to the gardens, a cultural center, restaurant, a greenhouse known for its collection of bonsai trees, and a gift shop featuring an extensive selection of Asian garden seeds, as well as craftwork made by artisans on the grounds. National Parks

  • Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge – This refuge provides a vast area of land to the habitat for threatened and endangered plants and animals. The Refuge is home to 58 mammal species. Among the larger species are mule deer, white-tailed deer, puma, pronghorn, and javelin. There are also more than 325 different bird species and 53 species of reptiles and amphibians. There is also a small jaguar population in the area, which is contiguous, with Mexico. Most of the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge is open for visiting and research.   • Campos del Tuyú National Park – This national park in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina is situated on the southern shore of Samborombon Bay, the park was established in 2009. The main attraction of Campos del Tuyú is the rare pampas deer; in fact, it is one of the few places in the Pampas where these species survive. Other inhabitants of the park include over a hundred bird species, capybara, and the likewise endangered Leopardus geoffroyi.

  • Villa Gesell – The main tourist attraction in Villa Gesell is the beach.   • Cabildo of Buenos Aires – This is the public building in Buenos Aires that was used as the seat of the town council during the colonial era and the government house of the Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata.   • Monument to the Carta Magna and Four Regions of Argentina – This is located in the intersection of Del Libertador and Sarmiento Avenues, a landmark site in the Palermo, a neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is commonly referred to as the Monument of the Spanish. The monument was a donation from the Spanish community in celebration of the centenary of the Revolución de Mayo of 1810, which marked the formal beginning of Argentina’s independence from Spain. It was built entirely in bronze and Carrara marble. At its top is a symbolic statue of the republic with allegoric marble representations of labor and work at its base, and bronze figures that represent the Andes, Pampa, Chaco, and de la Plata regions.
